(R17P.301) FAST CRUISER (FC) As the Vudar plotted their revolt, they
followed the ship designs and development of the Klingons specifically and the other races generally. Following the
lead of the other races, the Vudar produced a single example of a fast crusier. The design was not considered successful
as many within the Vudar high command felt the trade of speed for firpower a poor choice.
F&E FACTS: For those players wishing to add this ship to their F&E games
the following would apply.
Counter Factors are 7-8(F)/4. Command rating 8. Can build one FC per year by substitution beginning in Y176. Cost is 9
EP. A counter is provided.
(R17P.302) HEAVY CRUISER MAULER (CAM) While the Klingons never allowed
the Vudars mauler technology this did not stop them from secretly working on plans to develop maulers.
This ship, while never actually built, gives one idea of how the Vudars might have proceeded with such a
design. The ship is subject to shock and has a shock rating of 17.
F&E FACTS: For those players wishing to add this ship to their F&E games
the following would apply.
Counter Factors are 10
/4. Command Rating 8. Can convert one
CA per year beginning in the Spring of Y176. Can have only one in service at any given time. Conversion cost is 5 EP.
A counter is provided.
(R17P.303) FLEET TUG (TG) Earlier records seem to indicate the Enclave did
not possess the ability to build full size tugs, however, there exists some indication (although records are sparse
and unverified) that such a ship was indeed built. Many in the Klingon high command believe the reports concerning
this ship are in reality referring to an LTT. The ship, had it existed, would have used Klingon or Vudar built
copies of Klingon pods.
F&E FACTS: For those players wishing to add this ship to their F&E games
the following would apply.
Counter Factors are 5-8(F)/2-4. Command rating 8. Can build one TG per year by conversion from CA beginning in FY176.
Cost is 4 EP. A counter is provided.
(R17P.304) GALACTIC SURVEY CRUISER (GSC) Plans for this ship were drawn up
at almost the same time the Hydrans launched a offenive in 178. It is believed that only a single example of this
ship was ever produced. The Vudar used the ship to explore space around them looking for additional resources.
F&E FACTS: For those players wishing to add this ship to their F&E games
the following would apply.
Counter Factors are 5-8u/3-4. Command Rating 8. Can be converted from CA (once per year)
beginning in the Fall Y179. Limit 2 in service at any given time. Cost is 5 EP. EW = 2. A counter is provided.
(R17D.305) FAST STRIKE CARRIER (CVF) During the construction of the second
fast cruiser plans were changed to turn it into a fast strike carrier. The ship normally operated alone, but on the
rare occassion when used as a "regular" carrier was given an escort group of a CWE and DWE.
F&E FACTS: For those players wishing to add this ship to their F&E games
the following would apply.
Counter Factors are 7-8(F)/4. Command rating 8. Can build one FC per year by substitution beginning in Y176, no more
than one in service at any time. Cost is 12 EP plus the cost of the fighters. Counters for both the single ship and
the 3CVF are provided.
(R17P.306) INTERDICTION CARRIER (CVD) Following the lead of their
ex masters the Vudar High Command ordered the shipyards to began laying the plans for such a ship. The single
ship of this type which entered service in Y177 was escorted by a CWE and a DWE.
F&E FACTS: For those players wishing to add this ship to their F&E games
the following would apply.
Counter Factors are 4-8(12)/2-4(6). Command rating 8. Can build one per year by substitution in Y177, no more
than one in service at any time. Cost is 10 EP plus the cost of the fighters. Counters for both the single ship and
the 3CVD are provided.
(R17P.307) HEAVY FIGHTER CARRIER (CVH) Shortly after the introduction
of their Graviton heavy fighter into fleet service in Y183, the Vudar modified a CVS under constuction to operate the
them. The escort group consisted of a CWE and a DWE.

(R17P.308) AREA CONTROL SHIP (ACS) A ship the Vudar designed but apparently never produced
although rumors exist that one such ship was found in an incomplete state at the end of the war. The ship had it been
completed would have been escorted by a CWE and DWE.
F&E FACTS: For those players wishing to add this ship to their F&E games
the following would apply.
Counter Factors are 4-8(8H6)u/2-4(4H3). Command rating 8. Can build one per year by
substitution in Y180, no more than one in service at any time. Cost is 13 EP plus the cost of the fighters. Counters
for both the single ship and the 3ACS are provided.
(R17P.501) MULTI-ROLE CRUISER (MRC) Had the Vudar had more war cruiser hulls
available they might well had seriously considered producing ships of this class. As was the case with the multi-role
cruisers of the other races, additional firepower was provided by carrying two fighters.
F&E FACTS: For those players wishing to add this ship to their F&E games
the following would apply.
Counter Factors are 7-8(1)/4. Command rating 6. Can substitute one MRC
for NCL once per turn beginning in the Spring of Y182. Cost is 6 EP +1 EP for the fighters. Can perform all HDW
missions (except D) as described in (G33.0) Heavy War Destroyer Optional System Rules) Module R6. A ship counter
and HDW/MRC Missions counters are provided.
(R17P.502) WAR CRUISER MAULER (MCL) The Vudars drew up plans for a "light"
mauler based on their War Crusier. Like its larger counterpart the Heavy Cruiser Mauler, this design never
moved beyond the theoretical stage. This ship is subject to shock and has a shock rating of 13.
F&E FACTS: For those players wishing to add this ship to their F&E games
the following would apply.

A counter is provided.
(R17P.503) WAR CRUISER SCOUT (CWS) Still not satisified with their
electronic warfare capability the Vudar in Y178 converted their Light Scouts into this most robust design. One
ship was converted in the fall of Y178, the other the following spring.
F&E FACTS: For those players wishing to add this ship to their F&E games
the following would apply.
Counter Factors are 3-7u/1-4. Command rating 6. Can convert
from CLS one per turn beginning in the Fall of Y178. Cost is 2 EP. EW = 3. A counter is provided.
(R17D.504) PATROL CARRIER (CVP) The Vudar watched as the Klingons
deployed a Patrol Carrier. Intrigued by the concept they began making plans to produce such a ship themselves.
It appears at least one was produced in Y179 and was seen with a CWE and DWE as escorts.
F&E FACTS: For those players wishing to add this ship to their F&E games
the following would apply.
Counter Factors are 3-7(9)/1-4(4H
). Command Rating 6.

plus 4 EP for the fighters. Counters for both the CSV and 3CSV are provided.
(R17D.506) FAST WAR CRUISER (CWF) Some leaders within the Vudar Enclave became
convinced of the need to produce ships equivalent to the fast FD5 cruisers the Klingons introduced in Y173.
Studies point to the conclusion that such a design was never produced.
F&E FACTS: For those players wishing to add this ship to
their F&E games the following would apply.
Counter Factors are 6-7F/3-4. Command rating 6.
Can be converted in Y178 from a CW for 2 EP. A counter is provided.
(R17D.507) FAST SCOUT CARRIER (CSVF) It would appear based on all available facts
that this ship was nothing more than a design proposal as the Vudar had neither the ships to spare, the one CSV
being in constant use, nor the resources necessary for a new build. The plans did contain mention that a CWE
and DWE were to have been assigned as escorts had the ship been built and used in normal operations.
F&E FACTS: For those players wishing to add this ship to
their F&E games the following would apply.
Counter Factors are 3-7(8H) u
/1-4(4H). Command rating 6. Can be converted in Y183 from a CSV for 2 EP. EW=2. Counters for both the CSVF and
3CSVF are provided.
(R17P.551) LIGHT SCOUT (CLS) The Vudar leadership was concerned that the
Klingons held a wide superiority over them in electronic warfare capability. One outcome of this concern was this
design. Two ships were converted in Y174, one in the spring and one in the fall.
F&E FACTS: For those players wishing to add this ship to their F&E games
the following would apply.
Counter Factors are 3-6u/1-3. Command rating 6. Can convert
from CL one per turn beginning in the Spring of Y174. Cost is 3 EP. EW = 2. A counter is provided.

the following would apply.
Counter Factors are 6-7(1)/3-4. Command rating 5. Can convert from DW one per
turn beginning in the Spring of Y181. Cost is 5 EP +1 EP for the fighters. Can perform all HDW missions (except D)
as described in (G33.0) Heavy War Destroyer Optional System Rules) Module R6. A ship counter and HDW/MRC
Missions counters are provided.
(R17D.710) WAR FRIGATE SCOUT (WFS) As part of their plan to obtain electronic
warfare parity with the Klingons the Vudar commissioned a small number of this design. Less successful than its
larger sister the DWS it did provide the Vudar with additional EW capability.
F&E FACTS: For those players wishing to add this ship to their F&E games
the following would apply.
Counter Factors are 2-5u/1-3. Command rating 3. Can convert
from FFW one per turn beginning in the Spring of Y176. Cost is 1 EP. EW = 1. A counter is provided.
(R17P.718) GUNFIGHTER FRIGATE (GFF) The Vudar following the lead of their
ex masters removed redundant systems to allow for the installation of more weapons and power. The ship is not subject
to shock.
